BIO
Lillith Forsythe (she/they) is a papermaker and sculptor currently residing and working in Milwaukee, WI. Lillith received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Milwaukee Institute of Design in 2024. She approaches her practice with precision and tenderness, conjuring visceral objects that blur realities. With an investigative attitude, Lillith utilizes printmaking and encaustic techniques to bring their creature-like forms to life. Growing out of an adoration for environmental sciences and a constant existential inner monologue, Lillith’s work often evokes themes of evolution, natural history, and otheredness.
Lillith is a current artist in residence in the Plum Blossom Initiative’s Bridgework 10. They have exhibited locally at Between Two Galleries, Small Works Gallery, Some Fools Basement, Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, VAR Gallery, and the Allen Priebe Gallery at UWO.
